Dr. Sofia Cruzat is a 2019 graduate from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. She was born and raised in Chile, where she attended and graduated on 2010 with her DVM from Universidad Mayor School of Veterinary Medicine. While working on her DVM in Chile, she volunteered at the Chilean National Zoo for 5 years, this is where she discovered her love and passion of exotic and zoo animal medicine as well as for cats and dogs.
After practicing in her home country for 4 years, Dr. Cruzat was admitted to St. George’s University to work on her DVM in a USA school. After graduation she moved to Alabama and lives with her cat Lolly. Dr Cruzat’s hobbies include visiting and relaxing with friends, hiking, reading, baking, and crocheting.
